OC's Aloha House - Recovery Compass

Danny opened the first OC’s Aloha House with the help of his wife, Donna. His journey of recovery has spanned over 18 years. During those years, he has experienced the critical importance of support during not only the initial phases of sobriety but during life’s ongoing daily challenges. Working in this field has many rewards, one of which is witnessing firsthand the accomplishments of residents as they join the family of alumni and begin their own life of sobriety.

Danny says, “Everyone deserves an opportunity to change their life. Working with the men affords me a way to give back to the community at large. Whether it is at our monthly house BBQ for alumni and newcomers or listening to the men sharing at our weekly house meetings, I am grateful for the opportunities to give back.”

Danny has been in the construction industry for over 25 years and has been married 40 years to his wife, Donna. He enjoys classic cars and is currently restoring a vintage trailer.

At OC’s Aloha House, we offer affordable, high quality sober living homes for adults in early recovery or transitioning from inpatient treatment for alcohol and/or drug addiction. Individuals in need of on-going support, encouragement and looking to establish a solid support network will be welcomed at our homes. Our live-in heads of household have over 20 years combined sobriety. In addition, many have achieved or are in the process of completing certifications in alcohol and drug treatment.

OC’s Aloha House are located in some of the most beautiful suburban neighborhoods Southern California has to offer. These settings provide an atmosphere that allows residents to enjoy the unique lifestyle of Orange County as well as nearby Los Angeles and San Diego Counties. Beach and mountain activities are minutes away.
