Update: No Covid-19 prerequisites. Owner is letting people in off the street!

I resided at Inner Image from June 2019 to Feb 2020. My review will be 100% factual and I have full supporting documentation. If you need any proof I will leave my email address for further contact. My primary issues with Inner Image is the disregard for habitation laws. No A/C in the summer during extreme temps, accompanied by bedbugs multiple times and mice. In the winter months no heat all which are 100% illegal. Wiring not up to code which makes this a fire hazard. They accept handicap people with no handicap facilities. Long Beach Code Enforcement was out on Feb 14 and documented all of the above. Tenants were kicked out during the month and no rent was returned. Some of these guys have no extra money and funds should have been prorated and were not leaving some of them homeless till their next checks. On the website there are claims of Life Skills Assistance, Personal Development or Educational assistance, there is nothing!. Conditions are horrific, managers intimidate clients as most are fragile coming off the street or from rehabs. The owner does not test for Covid-19 and the residents are angry about getting exposed. Please do not send your loved ones or friends there, there are many other decent and caring facilities in the county. If you need any further info please email me [email protected]

Deputy City Attorney Art Sanchez has a ongoing investigation on that and some interesting financial issues which were reported. One being tenants were kicked out during the month and no rent was returned. Some of these guys have no extra money and funds should have been prorated and were not leaving some of them homeless till their next checks.Furthermore to comment on the website with no bad reviews and all 5 Star, usually a joke in my experience. To continue on the website there is no Life Skills Assistance, Personal Development or Educational anything.
